If you would like to meet and have a fact-to-face planning session, let me know.  It is included in the price you are paying.

8 to 10 weeks before the photo session

Book your session on a date that you are not on your period (this is not absolutely critical, but know your body and how you look and feel).  You are likely to feel most sexy around 12--14 days before your period starts (i.e., when you are fertile).

Consider starting yoga.  We recommend Wellspring Yoga, but any good yoga instructor will help you become more familiar with your body.

Consider working out with a combination of aerobic and anaerobic exercises.  Besides helping you look better, it is good for your overall health.

Consider a pole dancing class--- it will tone your body, get you more flexibility and will also get you used to feeling sexy and sensual when you move. You will also get to practice wearing super high heels.

Consider using a sunscreen such as Neutrogena Age Shield Face Sunblock Lotion SPF 110 at least daily.

4 weeks

If you are going to be waxed and have never done so before, try it to see if your skin will break out.

2 to 4 weeks

Shop for any new clothes when you are not on your period.  Be sure to try on the outfits and practice putting on any complicated clothes (such as a corset).

Be sure that your clothes fit well.  A good bra fitter is worthwhile.

Look for poses you think will look good.  Pinterest is a good place.  Share your favorites with me.

Practice sexy poses in front of the mirror.

7 days

Eat well.  Do not starve yourself trying to be thinner.  Your body needs food, mostly plant-based and colorful.  Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.  Drink plenty of water.  From here on, try to avoid much exposure to the sun.  I recommend that you use Neutrogena Age Shield Face Sunblock Lotion SPF 110.  Your skin will thank you.

Look for hair and make-up ideas that you want to use or show to your hair and make-up artist.

4 to 5 days

Get your hair cut.  Color it if you are going to; you have time to get any color problems corrected before the session.

3 to 4 days

If you are going to be waxed, this gives your skin time to recover.

If you are going to have your teeth whitened, this might be a good time also.

Drink plenty of water.  If you are well-hydrated, your skin will have a beautiful glow.

Consider having your hair professionally conditioned.

1 to 2 days

Do or get your nails done.

Get a facial.

A massage is nice too.

The day before

Continue to eat well.

Be sure to get enough water.

Avoid more than one alcoholic drink; having none is safer.  Avoid smoking if possible.

Pack your outfits, underwear, shoes, jewelry, make-up, etc if the photo session is not at your place.  If it is, gather these together to avoid spending lots of time looking for them during the session.

The night before

Get a good night's sleep.  Well-rested people are sexier.

The day of the photo session

Shave as needed three to four hours before the scheduled photo session.

Deal with make-up; professionals start at as low as $40, but better make-up artists do charge more.

Get any last-minute hair and nail touch-ups done.

Do not smoke.

Plan to arrive a little early to allow for traffic problems.

Drink plenty of water.

Moisturize your skin.

Eat a small, healthy meal just before you leave for the photo location (or about 30 minutes before I will be arriving if at your location).  Drink some water or tea with your meal.

Do not wear any clothes with elastic (including bras and panties) to the photo session.  The elastic will leave marks on your skin that can take an hour or more to fade.  The same is true for anything else tight such as a wristwatch.  The minor editing will not cover up marks from tight clothing, and they can be time-consuming to remove with extra editing.

The best clothing to wear to the session is either drawstring pants and a loose shirt or a slip-on dress.

Relax.  Remember that I have studied poses and body types, and I will pick poses, lighting and camera angles that show you at your best and minimize any areas that are less than perfect.

Bring a friend for support if you are nervous.

You will have a great experience.  Remember, YOU are sexy!
